I cut up strips and strips of old t-shirts and I came up with this beautiful headpiece. yes this headband is huge on her head, but she was the only one willing to hold still for a picture, I was thinking more along the lines of and adult bridal head ;) It took me longer to do this one that it did to do every other head band combined, but I think it was worth it! The rosettes are not snow white, the fabrics I used were from several different shirts that had been washed many times. I made a small batch of each of these headbands, and thought they were special enough that they should be sold together! No two are the same, so I'm trying to give you a visual of what they will look like on and off, the first and fifth picture is your exact purchase. If you really want two of the same kind, or another two pack please include your request in your "buyers notes" so that I can get you what you want. I used thin metal headbands so that they wouldn't be too noticeable in your hair and so that they won't hurt your head like some bands do! I used felt on the inside so that it would be comfortable against your head. Each band can be worn on either side of your head. A customer suggested doing some graphics for her primary birthday box so I though you might like them too. this purchase is for these 5 styles of the 2010 Primary theme , 4x6 size to be used for any project you like! This fancy little number was re-purposed out a thrift store find! It used to be kitchen curtains, but I "poppinized" it and voila - adorable kitchen wear! I don't know how old these are, but to use the word vintage it's supposed to be at least 20 years old, I am assuming these are. I layered the curtains for extra flounce and then added some light blue organza to add some more body and ruffle! The lace and checkered print is adorable. I used grossgrain ribbon for an easy bow that would stay tied, I didn't want to detract from the front. This will fit a small to a large or extra large depending on how you wear your aprons. Body of apron measures 16 inches wash in cold water, hang to dry (it probably could be washed in warm and thrown in the dryer... but I'd rather have it last longer since it's "vintage"!)
