Young Men Quorom Teaching Calendar

I have found it very effective to have our quorom secretaries create a teaching calendar and then make reminder calls to the individual that is in charge of the lesson that week.  I have also found it useful to have the youth teach lessons once a month.  This helps them to fulfill Duty to God assignments but I have also found that they actually do a good job of teaching.  We have taken some time to instruct them on the art of teaching which has helped them in this assignment.  In our quorom we also have a spiritual thought by one of the youth.  This can help set the tone for the meeting.  A lot of times they will pick a seminary scripture which is fine since it reinforces that teaching and gives the leaders a chance to ask about their seminary progress on memorization or other items.
